Aldo Berlinguer was born in Siena and studied Law at University of a tuscan city, he graduated with the maximum of votes.

After the graduation he gains the title of PhD in Private Comparative Law in University of Florence, Licienciatura en derecho at l’Universidad central de Barcelona and attends Master of Laws in Common Law Studies (LLM) at Georgetown University (Grant of Georgetown University and Fulbright).

In the beginning of 2000’s he lives in Brussels and works as a seconded national expert at legal service of the european commission.

Since 2005 he is a full professor of Comparative Law at the University of Cagliari. At the moment he is a Councilor for Infrastructures, Public works, Environment and Territory of
Regional Council of Basilicata.
